The First Case

Visa Type: Human Rights Appeal (Article 8 – Right to Family Life)

Mr B, a Chinese national, had two dependents — his wife and child. He sought to remain in the UK on human rights grounds after receiving a refusal decision from the Home Office. Concerned about the potential impact on his family, he approached our firm for assistance in preparing a strong appeal.

We represented Mr B in challenging the Home Office’s decision and prepared detailed supporting documents to demonstrate his right to remain in the UK under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Following the hearing, we were pleased to inform Mr B that his appeal had been successful. He and his family were granted leave to remain in the UK.

Comments:

Appeals under Article 8 can be complex and require strong evidence to show that removal would cause unreasonable disruption to family life. It is essential to instruct an experienced immigration solicitor to handle such cases. Our firm has extensive experience in Article 8 appeals and a strong record of success in challenging Home Office decisions on human rights grounds.
